Critics claimed Lala Baptiste controlled Jay Cinco after he picked a peasant costume for their family Halloween photos, but she pushed back hard. She clarified that both she and Cinco are single and told anyone obsessed with him to stop talking through others. Her response was direct: if you want him so bad, go directly to his DMs and continue begging him to choose you. It's a sharp defense against the narrative that she dictated his choices.
