Square Enix has announced that it will permanently shut down four Kingdom Hearts games on June 9, 2027. After that date, they will no longer be playable at all. The titles originally cost between $40 and $50. Players are now being asked to purchase the same games again if they want to continue accessing them. This development raises an important question. Should a game that someone has already paid for be allowed to disappear in this way?
