On June 25, 1978, exactly 48 years ago today, the Pride flag made its debut in San Francisco. It was created by artist Gilbert Baker as a symbol of pride, diversity, and hope for the LGBTQ+ community. 🏳️🌈 Since then, it has grown into one of the most widely recognized symbols of equality worldwide.
