Brazil's state-owned oil giant Petrobras is doubling down on Africa as its primary international focus. CEO Magda Chambriard stated, "The correlation between Brazil and Africa is unequivocal. So we need to go to Africa." The company has already secured positions in São Tomé and Príncipe, Côte d'Ivoire, Namibia, and South Africa, and is now actively applying for new opportunities there.
