Iran has reportedly sent a warning regarding the strategy the Gulf states were relying on to avoid its influence, and the location of the strike itself carries the message. Two UAE shuttle tankers were allegedly hit in the southern lanes of the Strait of Hormuz, inside Oman's territorial waters.
