Spent the day with my daughter, church, a meal out, then we went to the theater for The Odyssey. Honestly, the film is practically crap. The armor looks fake, like plastic, and the casting choices threw me off. Athena is portrayed with an African appearance, and Odysseus’s right-hand man is Indian. I’ve never seen ancient Greek or Roman statues where gods like Athena or Helen of Troy aren’t European. The dialogues drag on and the plot is a snooze.
