Dave Meltzer expects the match between Ryohei Oiwa and Yuya Uemura to perform very well in match of the year balloting. He notes that variety makes pro wrestling work, even if not everyone can pull off this style. A show in 1970 with every match this style wouldn't have worked, nor would it today. But it clearly worked for the specific show discussed. (WONF4W Daily Update)
