Ronaldo Nazário says Vini was not well prepared and his technical fundamentals were not improved before leaving Brazil. Ronaldo contrasts this with his time at Flamengo, stating they did not train him correctly. They did not improve Vini's left foot or his space-time relationship on the field. According to Ronaldo, Vini only improved outside of Flamengo.
