The UK government is seeking companies to provide migrant housing and support from 2029 to 2036, with an option to continue until 2039. That scope includes accommodation, food, security, transport, and welfare support. A previous estimate for similar contracts was £4.5 billion over 10 years. Current expectations suggest those contracts could cost £15.3 billion. There is a claim that the UK could spend £10 billion on housing migrants after 2029.
