FIFA has officially banned three Argentina players alongside coach Roberto Ayala following a post-match brawl after Spain won the World Cup 2026. Leandro Paredes received one of the harshest penalties in FIFA history, getting hit with a 10-game ban and a $90,000 fine. Nahuel Molina was handed a 7-game suspension plus another $90,000 penalty. Roberto Ayala faces a 3-game ban and $30,000 fine, while Thiago Almada got a single game suspension with a $30,000 charge. The Argentine Football Association also had to pay an additional $321,000 because of discriminatory chants and political displays.
