Iran suspends 10% freight fee on foreign vessels

Tehran has put a pause on the 10% freight fee it was charging foreign vessels that move oil, gas and liquid petroleum products into or out of the country. The point is to bring costs down for the foreign fleets still hauling Iranian cargo. U.S. naval actions had already cut into Iran's seaborne oil exports, and that extra 10% was piling more expense onto shipping operations on top of it.
