The next big AI fight probably won't happen inside a chat box. What caught my eye was OpenAI dropping $300 million-plus on an AI camera company, and the point isn't to take on Canon. Cameras might become one of the main senses for personal AI. An assistant that can keep understanding what you're seeing relates to the physical world in a way a screen-bound chatbot just can't.
