Did you know you can grow walnuts at home? Clean the shell and place it in water for a couple hours. Put it in a wet paper towel in a closed jar or bag. Two weeks later, the shell started to split. After another two weeks, a root and stem began to form. At this stage, it can be transplanted into soil or water. Walnuts prefer slightly warm temperatures and moderate humidity, and can be grown indoors.
