Rep. Tim Burchett on El Salvador policing

    作者 Flint: Tim Burchett

Rep. Tim Burchett argues America must destroy crime by removing rogue judges and surging police officers, citing El Salvador President Nayib Bukele as a model for the West. He urges the U.S. to mirror Bukele’s tactics directly. “We ought to look at what they're doing in El Salvador! They put more cops on the street and quit electing LOSER JUDGES! I think THAT'S what we need to start looking at.” The proposal frames nayibbukele as the blueprint for Western law enforcement reform

bad guys, but they're also being used, misused, actually. You heard flock say, we're not doing anything wrong, but hey, we're going to fix this problem. Which is it? And I think it's, you've got a lot of greed involved in this. I think we ought to look at what they're doing in El Salvador. They put more cops on the street and they quit electing loser judges. I think that's what we need to start looking at. Also, you know, I think it's a valuable tool for law enforcement. I do not support any shape, form or fashion.
