After one freezing winter, the two men finally returned to town. After investigating from every angle, the dentist finally tracked down Brumhilda. She had been sold to Mississippi's largest cotton plantation, Candyland. The plantation was owned by Calvin Candy, a notorious and extremely twisted heir to a fortune. His favorite pastime was watching black slaves fight to the death. The bloodier the fight, the more he enjoyed it, and the loser was never allowed to survive. trying to simply buy a black woman from someone this ruthless and wealthy, it would never work. So the dentist decided to play to Candy's interests. He disguised himself as a wealthy German willing to pay an outrageous price for one of Candy's black gladiators. Django would pose as an expert on slave fighters. Sure enough, Candy became extremely interested in them. The next day, he took them back to his plantation. But just as Django was about to mount his horse, the white men around him started mocking him. Even the black slaves nearby looked down on him. Clearly, in their eyes, no matter how expensive his clothes were, he was still just a a black man who belonged at the bottom. Django ignored the insults. Instead, he decided to show them exactly what he was capable of. With nothing but brute strength, he knocked both the rider and the horse straight to the ground. Rather than getting angry, Candy admired Django even more for his ruthless attitude. The entire group then continued toward the plantation, but along the way, they encountered a black fighter who had tried to escape A pack of vicious dogs waited beneath a tree The man had run nearly 20 miles on an injured leg just to escape being forced to fight for white men entertainment Candy calmly explained that if the man couldn survive five fights in the arena the he had spent on him would be wasted, and Candy didn't tolerate anyone making him lose money. Without hesitation, he ordered his men to release the dogs. They were ready to tear the man apart. The kind-hearted dentist, I couldn't bear to watch, and wanted to buy the poor man, but Jango stopped him just in time. If they saved him, their entire plan would be exposed. They might not even make it out of the plantation alive. All Django could do was watch helplessly. As the dogs tore the man apart, he knew exactly what that man was going through, but there was nothing he could do. Then came another surprise. The plantation's head servant was also a black man, but the moment he saw Django on horseback, he immediately became hostile. To men like him, a free black man was somehow even more hateful than the white men selling black slaves. Django's wife, Brumhilde, could speak German, and since the dentist was German, he asked Candy to have Brumhilde come and serve him. Candy happily agreed, but the head servant soon informed him that Brumhilde had tried to escape. The night before, she had been locked inside an iron box and left under the scorching sun. The overseer opened the box and brutally dumped a bucket of water over her to wake her up. Seeing his wife being treated like she wasn't even human, Django was devastated. That night, after Brumhilde had finished getting ready, she was sent into the dentist's room. The dentist spoke to her in German, explaining everything that had happened. Then he warned her, No matter what you see next, don't scream. A moment later, Django stepped out from behind the door. Thank you.
