2Slimey

The digital ecosystem surrounding 2Slimey operates less like a traditional fan club and more like a fractured, algorithmic echo chamber. There is no formal name for this collective; they are simply the followers of an artist who turned a viral snippet into a cultural flashpoint. Their identity is forged in the fire of polarization, where a Complex article once labeled him the unhinged rapper dividing the internet. These fans do not organize billboard campaigns or fund charity drives. Instead, they congregate on Instagram and TikTok, driven by the shock value of his screaming over 808s, a style so distinct that it allegedly inspired a high school course on his vocal delivery. The mythology here is built on rapid ascent rather than slow cultivation. A single track called Shrimp launched the phenomenon, while a co-sign from Lil Uzi Vert in March 2026 bridged the gap between underground terror plugg sounds and mainstream royalty. The lore solidified further when he took the stage at Rolling Loud Orlando in May 2026, commanding massive crowds despite the controversy. This is a fandom defined by meme culture and ironic devotion, embracing titles like King Shrimp without ever needing a unified banner. iFANN has evaluated the global standing of this rising star. The Global Fame Engine has assessed 2Slimey but does not currently place him within the published rankings. He holds no placement in the Global Top 1,000 or any Top-100 scope list.[编辑]

Before adopting the moniker 2Slimey, which reflects his philosophy of cutting off fake people, Garcia performed under the name GGS. His career path was anything but linear; he quit a job at 7-Eleven after just three days due to the hostile environment. After taking a break from music between 2019 and 2020, Yeat's success eventually inspired his return to the studio. Early influences included A$AP Rocky before he pivoted toward his current experimental sound following his hiatus. The negative reactions from major streamers like BruceDropEmOff and Jynxzi paradoxically fueled his popularity rather than dampening it. Fans have crowned him with ironic titles such as King of Mexico and Mexican Elvis Presley. One legendary moment involves a snippet of his track Shrimp going viral, serving as the foundational myth that moved him from obscurity to international attention. Another defining legend centers on his aggressive vocal delivery, described as screaming over 808s, which became culturally significant enough to be studied in academic settings. In March 2026, Lil Uzi Vert publicly co-signed the artist, validating his new album plans. This momentum culminated in a headline performance at Rolling Loud Orlando in May 2026, proving his ability to command festival stages despite his polarizing reputation.[编辑]
