Ain't in LA

Adéla released "Ain't in LA" on July 23, 2026, as the third single from her debut album Prima. Capitol Records put out this bass-heavy pop track written and produced by Blake Slatkin and Dylan Brady. Critics immediately noted the song's sonic resemblance to Miley Cyrus's 2013 hit "We Can't Stop." The track features a heavy bassline and pitched-down chorus vocals that share a chord progression with the earlier hit, though no official sample has been confirmed.

The inspiration for the song came from Adéla's time back home in Slovakia. She found old photographs of her mother at age 18 and used those images to shape the lyrics into what Nylon described as an "ode to the girls with big dreams and humble beginnings." The album title Prima reflects this theme, meaning "first" in Slovak while also nodding to the concept of a "prima ballerina." Lyrically, the track serves as an anthem of unity and internationality celebrating women with big aspirations.

Commercial momentum built quickly after release. The song recorded the fifth-biggest debut for Spotify worldwide and in the United States during its first week. A viral TikTok trend titled "Can't always be LA" amplified the track's reach as users shared videos highlighting their hometowns and local pride. This digital engagement helped propel the song to the Top 3 on the Global Spotify Streaming Chart by mid-September 2026. A lyric video arrived on July 22, 2026, followed by the official music video premiering on the same day as the single. [编辑]
