Axl Rose

1985年，Hollywood Rose 与 L.A.

专辑诞生了三首热门单曲：《Welcome to the Jungle》、《Paradise City》和《Sweet Child o' Mine》，后者登顶 Billboard Hot 100 冠军。

1991年，乐队同时发行了两张专辑：《Use Your Illusion I》和《Use Your Illusion II》，合计销量达3500万张。

“Not in This Lifetime”巡演的重聚是一次重大的文化事件，吸引了全球数百万粉丝。

The fanbase surrounding Axl Rose is defined by an intense, almost religious loyalty that has sustained Guns N' Roses through decades of hiatuses and lineup changes. Known informally as 'Nightrain,' these supporters are characterized by their willingness to endure long waits for tours and their active mobilization on social media to celebrate milestones like Rose's birthday or chart achievements. While the relationship has historically been complicated by Rose's perfectionism and occasional cancellations, the community remains a powerful force in rock history, often outlasting the band's own commercial peaks without a single official branded name.

Current standing reflects this enduring global influence. According to the latest data from the iFANN Global Fame Rankings, Axl Rose is the 13th most famous person in Metal, holding steady from the previous cycle. This placement underscores his status as a defining figure in the genre's legacy, recognized alongside peers who have shaped the industry's trajectory across generations.[编辑]

Before achieving global stardom, Rose worked as a night manager at Tower Records on Sunset Boulevard after moving to Los Angeles. He earned $8 per hour while participating in a UCLA study on cigarette smoking. As a child, he sang in the church choir and taught Sunday School. His vocal range is the widest of any popular singer on record, spanning over five octaves. He played piano on "November Rain" and "Estranged." He was arrested more than 20 times as a teenager in Lafayette. The song "Sweet Child o' Mine" was inspired by his then-girlfriend Erin Everly. He briefly joined AC/DC as a touring vocalist in 2016 after Brian Johnson's hearing issues.

A legendary incident occurred during a concert in Oakland, California, where Rose was arrested for assault after allegedly attacking a security guard and throwing a microphone stand at a fan, cementing his reputation as a dangerous frontman. Another iconic moment took place at the 1991 MTV Video Awards, featuring a full orchestra and massive stage setup for "November Rain," which became a cultural touchstone for the era's excess. In April 2026, Rose revealed he had kept a promise made to keyboardist Dizzy Reed before the band was signed, highlighting his commitment to his original circle despite years of public friction.[编辑]

As of 2026, iFANN currently estimates Axl Rose's net worth at $200 Million. The bulk of this wealth originates from Guns N' Roses touring revenue, album royalties, and songwriting credits. The Not in This Lifetime Tour (2016-2019) grossed over $584 million, making it one of the highest-grossing tours ever. Rose also earns from the band's catalog, including Appetite for Destruction (over 30 million copies sold) and Use Your Illusion albums (35 million combined). He owns a home in Malibu, California, and has investments in various ventures.[编辑]
