Brie Larson

Brie Larson holds a special place for her ability to move between tiny independent films and billion dollar franchises with equal skill. Her win for Room made her one of the few actors to sweep the major awards in a single season for a low budget drama. Captain Marvel became the first solo female superhero film from Marvel and shattered opening weekend records for a woman led title. These achievements highlight her range and her role in expanding what kinds of stories studios will finance. Fans admire how she uses her success to speak about representation and support for assault survivors rather than simply collecting trophies.
