Carey Mulligan has been nominated for three Academy Awards, three Golden Globes, and three BAFTAs, winning the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2010 and the BAFTA for Best Actress for An Education. She won the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actress for Promising Young Woman and has received multiple critics' circle awards. In 2025, she was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire, a rare honour for an actor of her generation.
