Daisuke Sakuma has cultivated a distinct identity within the Snow Man fandom by openly embracing his status as an anime otaku, creating a unique bridge between traditional idol culture and the broader pop-culture community. While he lacks a formal, exclusive fandom name separate from the group's collective following, his personal brand resonates deeply with fans who share his specific interests in gaming and animation. This connection is reinforced through his daily social media interactions and high-energy variety performances, where he frequently references his favorite series and games, fostering a sense of shared enthusiasm rather than distant worship.

His standing in the global entertainment landscape reflects this specialized appeal alongside his mainstream success. According to the iFANN Global Fame Rankings, Daisuke Sakuma is currently the 94th most famous person in Japan, a position he held steady as of August 2026. These placements track his visibility across global media coverage, search activity, and consumption signals worldwide, acknowledging his dual role as a chart-topping musician and a respected voice actor in major franchises like Blue Lock and High School! Kimengumi.[编辑]

Daisuke Sakuma maintains a small wrist tattoo, a relatively uncommon trait among Johnny's idols. Despite his dynamic stage presence, he admits to being openly afraid of heights. His culinary abilities are self-described as hazardous, leading him to rely heavily on convenience stores for meals. He owns a pet cat that appears frequently on his social media channels. Fans often greet him with his signature high-pitched 'Sakuma desu!' chant during concerts. He is also an avid gamer, regularly streaming titles such as Apex Legends, Fortnite, and Super Smash Bros.

Sakuma's legacy includes several verified milestones that cemented his reputation as the 'Otaku Idol.' A defining moment occurred when he explicitly introduced himself on national television as an anime fan, a declaration that became foundational to his public persona. In another notable cross-media event, he promoted Hololive virtual YouTuber Suisei on the morning show Love it, surprising both idol and VTuber communities. His dedication to the craft was further highlighted by his casting as Cure Connect in the 2025 special episode of You and Idol Precure♪, a role that perfectly aligned his real-life passions with fiction.[编辑]

Per iFANN's editorial analysis, Daisuke Sakuma's net worth is estimated at $4 million as of 2026. The bulk of this wealth stems from Snow Man's commercial dominance, including music sales, merchandise, and arena tours. The group's singles consistently move between 500,000 and over 1 million copies, with revenue distributed among the nine members. Their dome tours generate hundreds of millions of yen per performance. Additional income is derived from television appearances, acting roles, voice acting work, and endorsements with major brands such as Coca-Cola and Kose Cosmetics. A personal YouTube channel launched in 2026 has also contributed a new revenue stream. All figures remain speculative as Japanese idol earnings are not publicly disclosed.[编辑]
