Danny Elfman

他最出名的是与导演Tim Burton长期合作，为近20部Burton电影创作音乐，包括《Batman》、《The Nightmare Before Christmas》和《Edward Scissorhands》。

The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo的戏剧音乐团体。

他为《Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness》（2022年）和《Beetlejuice Beetlejuice》（2024年）配乐。

Danny Elfman's fanbase is a devoted cult following that has never adopted a formal name. Unlike the Swifties or Deadheads, his fans simply call themselves Oingo Boingo fans or Elfman fans, a reflection of his niche but fiercely loyal status. Their passion has kept the music alive decades after Oingo Boingo's final Halloween concert in 1995. Tribute bands like Dead Man's Party and reunion shows led by original drummer Johnny Vatos provide live outlets, while online communities share the perennial 'I didn't know he was in a band' discovery moment. Halloween remains sacred, with 'Dead Man's Party' as an anthem and the 2022 Hollywood Bowl concert a major ritualistic gathering.

As of August 2026, iFANN's Global Fame Engine has evaluated Danny Elfman but he does not currently hold a placement in the published rankings, whether the Global Top 1,000 or any Top-100 scope list. This unranked status reflects the evaluation's current snapshot, not his cultural footprint. His fame, however, is undeniable, his themes for The Simpsons and Desperate Housewives are instantly recognizable, and his scores for Tim Burton's films have defined a generation's cinematic sound. The lack of a formal rank does not diminish his standing; it simply means the rankings have not yet captured his unique blend of cult and mainstream appeal.[编辑]

Danny Elfman is completely self-taught as a composer, never having taken a formal music theory lesson. The Simpsons theme was composed in a single day and recorded in one take. He has a cameo in almost every Tim Burton film he has scored, often as a corpse or background character. He suffers from severe stage fright, which contributed to his decision to stop touring with Oingo Boingo. His first name is actually a nickname; his birth name is Daniel. He was a member of Oingo Boingo for nearly 30 years but has said he never enjoyed touring.

One of the most legendary moments in his career is the band's final concert on Halloween night, 1995. The event was deliberately planned as a farewell, cementing the band's association with Halloween forever. Fans still retell stories of that night, a fitting end to an era. Another iconic moment came in 2022, when Elfman performed both Oingo Boingo classics and The Nightmare Before Christmas live to film at the Hollywood Bowl, a career-spanning event that drew fans of both his band and film work into one shared experience.[编辑]

他还与Sam Raimi（《Darkman》、《Spider-Man》三部曲、《Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness》）和Gus Van Sant（《Good Will Hunting》、《Milk》）进行了广泛的合作。

Heading into 2026, iFANN currently estimates Danny Elfman's net worth at $100 million. His primary income comes from film scoring fees, typically $2–$5 million per major studio film, with over 100 credits. He earns ongoing royalties from his film scores, the Simpsons theme, and the Oingo Boingo catalog. His concert works generate performance fees. He owns a historic estate in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, purchased in the 1990s and significantly renovated. He also owns Elfman Music, his publishing company, which controls rights to most of his compositions. The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack has sold millions of copies.[编辑]

Edward Scissorhands、The Nightmare Before Christmas和Sweeney Todd。
