Dido's debut album No Angel sold over 21 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums of all time. Both No Angel and Life for Rent rank among the top 10 best-selling albums of the 2000s in the UK, a feat achieved by few artists. She was named No. 98 on Billboard's decade-end artists list for the 2000s. Her Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Song Collection in 2019 recognized her enduring songwriting talent. The Academy Award nomination for "If I Rise" highlighted her ability to create emotionally resonant music for film.

奖项Dido has won two Brit Awards: Best British Album for No Angel and Best British Female, both in 2001. She also won the MTV Europe Music Award for Best New Act in 2001.
