Diplo's influence extends far beyond his own records. He has been named the world's top DJ by Billboard's Dance 100 list (as part of Jack Ü) and has consistently ranked in the top 30 of DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs, peaking at number 23. His label Mad Decent is credited with popularizing moombahton and global bass genres, shaping the sound of electronic music in the 2010s. He holds a Guinness World Record with Major Lazer for most consecutive weeks in the UK Top 10 by a dance act for "Lean On."

奖项Diplo has won multiple Grammy Awards as part of Jack Ü, including Best Dance Recording for "Where Are Ü Now" and Best Dance/Electronic Album for Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü. He also won an MTV Video Music Award for Best Visual Effects and a Billboard Music Award for Top Dance/Electronic Song, both for "Where Are Ü Now." His production work on M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes" earned a Grammy nomination for Record of the Year.
