Faisal Islam is one of the most decorated British journalists of his generation. His shelf of awards spans from early career recognition to major industry honors, but what sets him apart is the range: he has been celebrated for young talent, for breaking news, for long-form interviews, and for team coverage. The 2009 sweep for his Icelandic banking reporting was particularly remarkable, winning four separate awards for the same body of work. 奖项Faisal Islam has won numerous prestigious journalism awards. He won the Wincott Award for Young Financial Journalist of the Year in 2000, the Royal Television Society Young Journalist of the Year in 2005, and the RTS Award for Interview of the Year in 2017. In 2009 he swept the Business Journalist of the Year Awards, winning Business Journalist of the Year and Best Broadcast Story. He was named Journalist of the Year at the Asian Media Awards in 2018 and received an Asian Achievers Award in 2019. He also won a BAFTA for Channel 4 News's coverage of the Israel-Iran conflict.
