Gerard Piqué

Gerard Piqué maintains a substantial global profile that transcends his retirement from professional football, anchored by decades of elite sporting achievement and high-profile business ventures. According to the iFANN Global Fame Rankings, he is currently the 212th most famous person in the world, a position holding steady from the previous cycle. Within his native Spain, his prominence is even more concentrated, placing him as the 11th most famous person in Spain. His standing among his countrymen is reflected in the data showing he is the 8th most famous person from Spain, while across the continent he ranks as the 7th most famous person in Europe. These placements reflect a sustained level of attention tracked through global media coverage and consumption signals worldwide. Regarding his supporters, there is no official or widely recognized formal fandom name for Gerard Piqué specifically. Unlike pop stars who have designated fan clubs, football fans typically organize around the club they support rather than individual players. Consequently, Piqué does not have a distinct moniker for his supporters; instead, he is celebrated by culers and Spanish national team supporters.[编辑]

Piqué holds a degree in Business and Management from the University of Barcelona, which he earned while playing professionally. He is a polyglot, speaking Catalan, Spanish, English, and some Italian. A massive fan of the band The Killers, he has performed on stage with them. He was the first football player to reach 10 million followers on Instagram and bears a tattoo of the Champions League trophy on his arm. As a co-owner of the eSports team KOI, he commands a huge following in Spain. A public feud with Iker Casillas once erupted over their differing political views on Catalan independence. In 2019, UEFA.com ranked him #8 in its all-time top 10 central defenders, and FourFourTwo placed him at #73 in its 100 Greatest Footballers of All Time list in 2017. Legends surrounding his career often focus on his defensive partnership with Carles Puyol, a duo described as the bedrock of Barcelona's tiki-taka success during the historic treble season of 2009. Another frequently retold story involves his instrumental role in Spain's 2010 World Cup victory, where his tactical intelligence helped secure the title. While personal controversies like his split from Shakira have become part of modern folklore, his sporting mythology remains rooted in these documented on-pitch achievements.[编辑]

两人在拍摄2010年南非世界杯官方歌曲《Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)》的MV时相识，并于2011年初开始约会。

iFANN currently estimates Gerard Piqué's net worth at $110 Million. This figure encompasses wealth generated from multiple streams throughout his career and post-retirement ventures. At his peak with Barcelona, he earned approximately €20-22 million per year in salary. His primary wealth driver is his investment firm Kosmos Holding, which owns FC Andorra, a club he acquired in 2018 that reached Spain's Segunda División, and the eSports brand KOI. The most notable Kosmos venture was the €3 billion Davis Cup revamp deal, which concluded in 2023 but reportedly netted him a profit. Past endorsement deals include partnerships with Nike, Rakuten, Beats by Dre, and Pepsi, including a lifetime agreement with Nike. Real estate holdings feature a luxury home in Esplugues de Llobregat and a mansion in the Catalan countryside. He also owns a production company, Producciones del Barrio, which produced the documentary series Matchday.[编辑]
