Gut Genug

Gut Genug serves as the second studio album from the Berlin production trio KitschKrieg, landing on May 22, 2026. This 14-track project marks a distinct moment in German hip-hop by fusing polished club beats with the emotional indie-pop textures that define their recent output. The record was released under BMG Rights Management, the same label representing the songwriters behind the massive success of its lead single.

The title track stands as the cultural anchor for the entire release. Originally written by the indie duo Blumengarten who planned to shelve it, the song only reached completion after KitschKrieg pushed for its finalization. While the trio initially targeted a January 2026 drop, Blumengarten requested extra time to refine the track, shifting the launch to late May. The resulting chorus, "Du bist gut genug," became a global internet sensation used in everything from pet videos to graduation montages.

Commercially, the album and its singles dominated the landscape immediately upon arrival. The lead single topped charts in both Germany and Austria, earning the title of Song of the Summer by July 2026. Even international acts like BTS contributed to its viral trajectory by featuring the track in their content, proving that a simple four-word affirmation could bridge language barriers and dominate social media feeds globally.
