Sam Raimi and Terry Goodkind adapted Goodkind's Sword of Truth novels into a syndicated fantasy series that ran for two seasons and 44 episodes from 2008 to 2010. The story is set in the mythical medieval world of the Midlands, a land fractured by war and dark magic. The trio's mission expands from simply defeating a tyrant to preventing the Keeper from breaking through into the world of the living.
