The cultural mythology surrounding Rei Ami and her fictional group HUNTR/X is built on the unprecedented phenomenon of a cartoon ensemble achieving tangible global superstardom. While no official fandom name exists comparable to established K-pop entities, the community organizes primarily through digital spaces like r/KpopDemonhunters, where fans navigate the meta-narrative that the group are the owners of their agency rather than traditional idols. This unique dynamic has fueled coordinated streaming efforts that propelled the track Golden to the top of global charts and secured its victory at the 2026 Academy Awards. Key moments defining this legacy include a surprise performance alongside Katseye at Coachella in April 2026, which dissolved the boundary between animation and live reality, and a historic appearance with BTS at the AMAs in May 2026. Despite this massive reach, iFANN's Global Fame Engine has evaluated Rei Ami but does not currently hold a placement in the published rankings for the Global Top 1,000 or any Top-100 scope list. Consequently, she is not assigned a specific numeric rank or score within the current dataset. The audience remains a fluid collective of supporters who treat the real-life performances as an extension of the fictional story, engaging in rituals such as celebrating her birthday without the formal structures of traditional idol fandoms.[编辑]
