Roberto Mancini

Roberto Mancini currently holds no placement in the iFANN Global Top 1,000 rankings. While the iFANN Global Fame Engine has evaluated his profile, he does not occupy a specific numeric slot on the published scope lists as of August 2026. This absence of a rank stands in stark contrast to the visceral intensity of his relationship with the Italian public. His fanbase lacks a formal codified name, yet the collective identity of supporters who backed his tenure is defined by a shared, almost religious devotion to the Euro 2020 victory. These fans, often grouped under the broader Tifosi banner, view Mancini not merely as a coach but as the architect of a national resurrection. The narrative that defines this audience is one of rehabilitation; after his abrupt departure for Saudi Arabia in 2023 and the subsequent failures of interim successors, the public outcry demanded his return with such force that the federation reinstated him in July 2026. Fans do not organize around a specific hashtag or subreddit brand but rather rally organically through social media and street celebrations, treating his appointment as a rescue mission. They speak of him as the only man capable of fixing what others break, transforming a period of crisis into a renewed era of hope. This dynamic creates a unique bond where the manager is revered less for tactical minutiae and more for his ability to restore national pride during times of fracture.[编辑]

Roberto Mancini was pronounced dead at birth due to a blocked windpipe before a doctor's slap and cold water revived him. At age six, he requested football boots and a leather ball every Christmas. He missed part of his First Holy Communion to play a youth match after the priest-coach fetched him from church. As a player, he gave half-time team talks, foreshadowing his managerial career, and assisted Sven-Göran Eriksson at Lazio while still active. He holds the record for the youngest Serie A debutant from the Marche region at 16 years and 291 days. Mancini scored the winning goal in Sampdoria's 1991 Supercoppa Italiana and earned 36 caps for Italy. His 37-match unbeaten streak with the national team remains a men's international record. He received the Grande Ufficiale OMRI for Euro 2020 and joined the Manchester City Hall of Fame in 2017. Fans widely retell the story of the Euro 2021 victory as a moment where Mancini transformed a fractured squad into a family, sparking massive street celebrations across Rome and Milan. The shock of his 2023 resignation created a mythology of betrayal that fueled the intense demand for his return in 2026. Supporters now frame his reappointment as the work of a 'Phoenician' figure rising from the ashes to save the nation once again.[编辑]

iFANN currently estimates Roberto Mancini's net worth at $53 million as of 2026. This figure reflects his extensive earnings from a long career spanning both professional playing and high-profile management roles. His wealth accumulates primarily from his time as a manager for the Saudi Arabia national team, where he commands an annual salary of £26.5 million ($33.5 million), placing him among the highest-paid national team coaches globally. Previous lucrative tenures at Inter Milan, Manchester City, Galatasaray, and Zenit Saint Petersburg further bolstered his financial standing. Earlier contributions came from his playing days with Sampdoria and Lazio, as well as a brief spell at Leicester City. No specific endorsement deals or separate business ventures are publicly reported, meaning his fortune relies almost entirely on his football-related compensation packages.[编辑]
