Romelia War Chronicle

Prince Henri and his allies slay the Demon King Zergis, yet the victory brings no celebration for Romelia. The countess and powerful mage who fought at Henri's side expects a triumphant return to the capital, only to find her engagement dissolved on the spot. Henri declares her useless now that the war is over, stripping her of her title and abandoning her to her home territory where demons still hold humans in bondage.

She refuses to accept this fate and launches a solo campaign to liberate her lands without a formal army. Her methods involve pressuring local lords to seize fortresses through political maneuvering rather than force while sending inexperienced recruits on monster-hunting missions to gain combat experience. Lucrative deals with merchants provide the necessary funding as she systematically rebuilds her forces and liberates towns.

Ryō Ariyama launched the series as a web serial on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in August 2019 before Shogakukan acquired it for print under the Gagaga Books imprint. The first volume arrived on June 19, 2020, illustrated by Kodama. Ryō Kamito took over illustration duties starting with Volume 6 and also adapted the story into a manga serialized via the Manga Doa app since April 2021. An anime adaptation produced by studio Atra premiered on October 3, 2026, streaming globally on Crunchyroll. [编辑]
