Belo Horizonte product. Started martial arts at seven after watching his brother compete. Brazilian judo school-games champion; brown belts in judo and jiu-jitsu, blue belt in kickboxing.

Worked as an electrician maintaining garbage trucks for the Belo Horizonte municipal council. Nearly quit at 29, then two things landed at once: wife pregnant with son David Emanuel, and a Dana White's Contender Series call. Pro debut February 19, 2022: five-round unanimous decision over M. Atila for Gladiators Fight Night gold. Only career loss came in his second bout, April 2022.[编辑]

Rebuilt through the regionals: decision over Luiz Fabiano (Federacao Fight 15, April 2023), first-round arm-triangle of Leonardo Bezerra (Bison Kombat 3, September 2023), LFA debut TKO of Alessandro Gambulino (LFA 171, November 2023), one-punch KO of Vladimir Calvo Marrero (LFA 197, November 2024).

Contender Series, August 26, 2025: first-round TKO of Trent Miller (2:51), UFC contract. UFC debut, February 28, 2026, Mexico: 41-second first-round TKO of Jose Daniel Medina. UFC 329, July 2026, Las Vegas: first-round TKO of Zachary Reese, 2-0 UFC. UFC 331, September 19, 2026: KO of Ozzy Diaz at 2:04 of round one — fifth straight first-round knockout, tenth straight win, 11-1 (3-0 UFC) (USA Today, ESPN). Called out Israel Adesanya afterward (MMA Junkie). No decision since April 2023.[编辑]

Blue-collar finisher: ex-electrician, soft-spoken outside the cage, all pressure and left hands inside it. Post-fight declarations are blunt — "the problem of the division" — and the first-round reels do the marketing.[编辑]
