Stay Luck

Stay Luck

Daisuke Namikawa established Stay Luck in June 2012 following his departure from Across Entertainment. His goal was to build a management structure that offered greater autonomy to its talent compared to traditional agencies. The founding philosophy emphasized quality representation and long-term career stability rather than rapid exposure. The company began with a small roster and an initial capital of ¥5,000,000, deliberately maintaining a manageable size to prioritize personalized career development.

In 2016, the agency gained significant industry attention when Noriaki Sugiyama announced his affiliation with Stay Luck. Sugiyama was widely recognized for voicing Sasuke Uchiha in Naruto and Uryū Ishida in Bleach. This high-profile signing signaled the agency's growing reputation among established talent. By 2017, Stay Luck had expanded its operational scope to include innovative training initiatives, such as a virtual reality project tied to Persona 4 The Golden Animation, leveraging Namikawa's educational branding to experiment with new technologies in talent development.

Throughout the 2010s and 2020s, Stay Luck has maintained a steady presence in the industry, representing a mix of veteran actors and emerging voices without pursuing aggressive growth. The agency functions as a specialized boutique, managing a curated list of performers ranging from veterans to emerging voices. The leadership emphasizes a supportive environment where artistic growth is balanced with professional stability.
