Per iFANN's editorial analysis, Tom Hanks sits on a fortune estimated at $400 Million as of 2026. His wealth accumulates from decades of commanding high salaries on major studio films, frequently reaching 20 million dollars per project alongside backend percentages. The Toy Story franchise alone has generated hundreds of millions in residuals and royalties over nearly thirty years. His production company Playtone, co-founded with Gary Goetzman in 1998, has produced successful films and award-winning miniseries that continue to earn revenue through licensing and streaming deals. Hanks also benefits from smart real estate holdings in Los Angeles, New York, and on the Greek island of Antiparos. Endorsement deals and appearances add steady income each year. His net worth has grown consistently since the late 1990s when Forrest Gump and subsequent hits dramatically increased his asking price. Conservative investments and ownership stakes in his productions have protected and expanded that wealth. By 2026 the combination of acting fees, producing profits, and long-term residuals keeps him among Hollywood's most financially secure stars.[编辑]
