This placement reflects his enduring resonance within the industry, where his voice remains a defining element of the genre's evolution. The metrics that track global attention across media coverage, search activity, and consumption patterns worldwide place him firmly among the top tier of artists in his field.

While the broader EXO fandom is known as EXO-L, Xiumin does not have a formally documented individual fanbase name distinct from the group. His personal social media presence on Instagram serves as a primary hub for fans, who engage with his content through his handle @exo_xiumin_97. Recent years have seen his community focus heavily on the high-stakes legal drama surrounding his contract status and the potential reunification of EXO-CBX. Despite the turbulence, his audience remains loyal, tracking every update regarding his solo releases and potential return to group activities.[编辑]

Xiumin possesses a distinctive high-pitched vocal tone that adds a unique texture to both his rapping and singing, setting him apart from many peers. He has long been cherished by fans for his family values, notably protecting his younger sister's privacy at his mother's request throughout his career. His stage persona is often linked to frost, a theme chosen as his superpower during his debut years that complements his cool yet approachable image. Even before official debuts, early teasers highlighted his potential, building significant anticipation among future fans.

In more recent lore, the period between 2025 and 2026 became a defining chapter of modern K-pop history for his subunit. A widely discussed event was the joint lawsuit filed by Xiumin, Chen, and Baekhyun to terminate their contracts with SM Entertainment, marking a historic split after over a decade together. The situation escalated when SM obtained a provisional seizure order against the members' assets, including apartments worth billions of won. These events shifted the narrative from pure entertainment to a complex story of artistic independence and corporate conflict, which fans continue to analyze and discuss as a pivotal moment in their careers.[编辑]

Updated for 2026, iFANN currently estimates Xiumin's net worth at $10 million. This figure is derived from his extensive work in music releases, acting projects, and lucrative endorsement deals. His solo discography, including the EPs Brand New in 2022 and Interview X in 2025, drives significant revenue through sales and streaming platforms. Additional earnings come from appearances in variety shows and advertisements that capitalize on his popularity across South Korea and internationally. Over recent years, his financial growth has accelerated following his move to INB 100 in 2024, which unlocked new performance opportunities and partnership avenues. Strategic investments in personal ventures, potentially spanning real estate and brand collaborations, have further sustained this upward trajectory.
