Yeji stands as the leader of ITZY, commanding stages with a precision that defines fourth-generation K-pop. Her trajectory shifted dramatically in March 2025 when she became the first member of her group to launch a solo career with the EP Air. While her global influence has surged through massive concert tours and high-profile fashion partnerships, iFANN's Global Fame Engine evaluated her status in August 2026 and determined she currently holds no placement in the published rankings. She is not ranked within the Global Top 1,000 or any specific top-tier scope list at this time. Despite the absence of a numerical rank, her cultural footprint remains undeniable. Fans often distinguish their support for her through specific rituals like dance flash mobs during her birthday celebrations. The community frequently describes her as a "dork trapped in a hot girl's body," celebrating the stark contrast between her fierce, cat-like stage persona and her clumsy, humorous off-stage reality where she is known for burning food. This unique duality fuels fan engagement, though the fanbase has no formal name exclusively for her beyond the group identity. Recent concerns over her health surfaced in May 2026 following a herniated disc diagnosis, triggering widespread well-wishing campaigns from the fandom. Her status as a trendsetter was further cemented in July 2026 when she appeared in Singapore for the opening of a Roger Vivier store, bridging the gap between pop stardom and luxury fashion.[编辑]

Born on May 26, 2000, Yeji possesses blood type A and an MBTI classification of ESFJ, having previously been identified as ISFJ. Before her idol debut, she made a cameo appearance in the 2015 drama Twenty Again and even dreamed of becoming a professional soccer player before falling in love with dance. Known affectionately by the nicknames Yeddeong and Light Fury, she is celebrated for her sharp dance lines and distinctive cat-like eyes. A widely retold story among fans details how she was discovered after attending a GOT7 concert; she reportedly gave her number to a stranger near the restrooms who eventually helped her join the industry. Another enduring piece of lore highlights her self-deprecating humor regarding her cooking skills, with fans often joking about her habit of burning food despite her perfectionist nature on stage. In 2025, she made history as the first ITZY member to debut as a soloist with the mini-album Air. Later, in May 2026, the group faced concern when her agency confirmed she had been diagnosed with a herniated disc, a condition that highlighted the physical toll of her demanding choreography-heavy performances.[编辑]

Per iFANN's editorial analysis, Yeji's net worth is estimated at $10 million in 2026. This financial standing reflects her multifaceted career as both the leader of ITZY and a successful solo artist. Her primary revenue streams include album sales, streaming numbers, and lucrative concert tours that have taken the group across the globe. Strategic endorsement deals with major brands further bolster her earnings, particularly following her collaboration with G-SHOCK and her association with luxury fashion house Roger Vivier. The release of her solo EP Air and subsequent promotional activities have added significant value to her portfolio, diversifying her income beyond group efforts. Additionally, appearances on variety shows and the sale of exclusive merchandise contribute to her steady financial growth. Since ITZY's debut, her net worth has climbed consistently, mirroring the sustained popularity and commercial success of her work.[编辑]
